ONE YEAR AWAY!
Today is one year away from our wedding date.
Considering that it’s beautiful outside and a paid holiday for Laura, April 14 feels like a damn good decision.
It’s cool to think that on this day next year, we’ll finally Mr. and Mrs! Also notable, we’ve been engaged for exactly two months. Happy reverse anniversary to us!

Happy thoughts, just keep thinking happy thoughts...I have discovered some things thanks to my daily history updates (Yes I AM an elementary school teacher). Although this is that date that Noah Webster copyrighted his first dictionary, it is also the day that Lincoln was shot, the Donner Party left Springfield, and the Titanic hit an iceburg...Happy thoughts, happy thoughts.....It is also the day that the first Volvo debuted in Sweden. Good, Solid, Reliable Volvo! It is also the day they celebrate Black Day, an informal celebration for singles in South Korea. Hey, maybe that's where your Asian Bound friends could go to celebrate your wedding...

Adding to the Happy Thoughts and history of April 14th...this is the birthday of Johnny Hustle, that's right, Pete Rose...Also on this day, Pete recorded his first hit as a Major Leaguer....year's later, he recorded his 4000th hit on this day, too...off the same pitcher both times...I don't know how this relates to your wedding...maybe a Big Red Machine theme...just think, the alter at St. James replaced by home plate; Gavin waiting, expectantly, when all of a sudden, Laura comes bursting through the doors, like Rose himself rounding third, slamming into Gavin and knocking the rings right out of his hands...or something like that...
